The workshop will be held at Eden (Political Sciences building), a venue very close to the main university building on the old central campus in the city of Lund.
The largest nearby hub is Copenhagen Airport (CPH) with direct connections to all major european cities. From there trains to Lund depart four times per hour at peak times and three times per hour off-peak. The train ride is 40 min, but expect another 20 min on top due to the recent border controls.
Note that you have to buy a ticket before boarding the train. There can be a stiff €100 fine otherwise!
Some people with specific origin cities (Madrid, Barcelona, Treviso, Turin, Innsbruck, Salzburg) and many others in Eastern Europe might find cheap tickets to Malmö Sturup Airport (MMX). From there a shuttle bus (remeber to select to/from Lund in 'Route') goes regularly to Lund and the trip takes about 45 min.
We recommend checking flights on www.momondo.com, since even low-cost airlines such as EasyJet and Ryanair are included there.
Two hotels have a contingent of rooms reserved for workshop participants:
Both Hotels are central in Lund and close to the conference site. Please email directly the Hotel of your choice to book your room and, optionally, the name of your roommate.
In order to have access to the above discounted rates, it is necessary to inform the Hotel of your participation to the ETSF workshop when booking a room. After registration you'll receive an email with the code for the hotels.
Deadline for room reservation: August 14, 2016. After deadline we do not guarantee room availability nor discounted rates.
If you like to share a room but do not have an roommate you can indicate this on the registration form and we will try to find you a match.
The activities of monday the 19th - such as the registration, Steering Committee and Software meetings - will be held at The Concordia hotel.
